If you found all the genuine wholesale sources, why are you trying to sell the information and not the products? I'm sick of dealing with physical products because I enjoy traveling and it's easier to travel if I can sell downloadable items. All I need is internet access. When I sell wholesale products I have to stay in one location and wait for the products and I'm bored with that.
If I want cheaper wholesale prices than what is listed and I only want to buy a few items, how can I do this? All Exclusive Wholesalers compiled in my lists include contact details. Contact the company who has the product you are interested in and negotiate through telephone or email. In Asia, most companies expect you to negotiate even if the prices are listed in stone on their websites if they have them. They usually start off at higher prices and expect to meet you half way. If you choose to conduct business over the telephone, please keep in mind that all wholesalers speak english, but some may speak it better than others so please be patient when speaking to the ones who do not speak it very well.
If I want to go to Asia myself and find sources on my own like you did, what advice do you have for me? First, You need to be aware of what countries specialize in what products so you know what you are looking for. Taiwan is known for electronics. Thailand is known for clothing, gems, and wood products. India is known for cotton clothing, silk and handicrafts. Malaysia is known for electronics, tin and wood products. Indonesia is known for electronics and rubber (example: ipod cases).
The best place to meet people who specialize in wholesale products: Thailand - Chatuchak Weekend Market in Bangkok (The largest outside market in the world). At Chatuchak you will find people from all different neighboring countries who travel to this weekend market just to have the opportunity to sell their items. If you are traveling anywhere in Asia looking for wholesale sources, I urge you to check this market out because if you have negotiating skills, you can find just about any products you could possibly need. Majority of the people here speak english (although they are not always the best when it comes to speaking it from my experiences) Many of the people in Chatuchak come from poor rural areas in Thailand but also other nearby countries, so they can offer you the cheapest prices anywhere in Asia.
